Tuition Assistance, Incentives and Discounts

Stanford University Employees:

STAP Funds: If you are Stanford University Employee working 50% time or more, you can use your STAP funds for pre-approved Healthy Living classes at the time of registration. Most  Healthy Living classes are STAP approved. Look for “STAP/EA Funds: Yes” next to the class fee. *To check your STAP balance, log in to Axess > Training > STAP > STAP Balance.

BeWell Berries: Every Healthy Living class qualifies for BeWell Berry credit. Benefits-eligible University employees enrolled in the current year BeWell program will automatically be awarded a BeWell Berry for attending a Healthy Living class.

BeWell Engagement: BeWell participants can earn the engagement incentive by taking an approved, STAP-eligible Healthy Living class. Participants may complete the Wellness Profile before, during or after completion of your class.

Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health Employees:

Educational Assistance (EA) Funds, also known as Tuition Reimbursement: Stanford Children’s Health and Stanford Health Care employees may use EA Funds towards approved HIP Healthy Living Classes. Learn more

Incentives: Earn 250 points and receive either a $250 (employee-only) or
  $500 (employee + one or more covered dependent) incentive. Learn more

  • Weight Management Program (Omada) – 250 points
  • Healthy Living or Fitness class (HIP) – 50 points
  • Seminar or Event – 25 points
  • Webinar – 25 points
