As part of a 3-person team, Nikki manages 100+ group fitness instructors, providing nearly 200 classes each week, at ever-changing locations, scattered throughout the Stanford University campus and numerous remote sites. Nikki staffs and manages the Wellness on Wheels group fitness classes provided to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital & Clinics. She also leads high-intensity Boot Camp classes up to 20 times per week at Stanford.
In 2013, Nikki was chosen to lead Boot Camp fitness classes, 2 days per week, for the Stanford Executive Program (SEP), the highly selective, 6-week, life-changing executive education experience.
In 2014, she was again chosen to lead classes, this time 5 days per week, for the Stanford Executive Program. She also staffs and manages all group fitness classes for Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) Summer Executive Education Programs.
Since 1999, she has worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, specializing in land and water bootcamps. She has led Boot Camps at Google, YMCA, Siemens, Electronic Arts, Advanced Micro Devices, Marvell, and, of course, Stanford.
Nikki is a certified personal trainer, American Council on Exercise (ACE), and a certified fitness instructor, Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA). Prior to fitness instruction, Nikki was a healthcare actuarial consultant. She has a BA in Theoretical Mathematics from UC Berkeley.
Personal interests include swimming, spinning, skiing, and kickboxing, skin diving in Kahaluu Bay, Kona; mountain biking in the Santa Cruz mountains; and whitewater rafting in the Sierras. When not exercising, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, and exotic animals.
