Christina Hoe, BS
Wellness Coordinator, HealthySteps to Wellness
Christina joined the Stanford Health Improvement Program in 2016 as a Wellness Coordinator for HealthySteps to Wellness, the hospital employee wellness program for Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health. Christina has a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise and Movement Science and a M.S. in Wellness and Health Promotion Management. Her interest for wellness and preventative care began as an volunteer at a physical therapy office in San Francisco, CA. From this experience, she learned the importance of integrating physical awareness and mindful body movements to the treatment plan in order to prevent reinjury. From there, her interest in preventative medicine sparked her passion for helping others achieve their personal best when it comes to improving their health, fitness, and well-being.
As a Wellness Coordinator, Christina puts herself into the shoes of the hospital employees to ensure their user experience with their wellness program caters to their needs. She stays up to date with the latest in technology trends and is constantly looking at ways to improve organizational systems and data processing. In her free time, Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games (Favorites: Settlers of Catan & Ticket to Ride) and is an avid traveler who loves trying different cuisines from around the world.
