The BeWell@Stanford Employee Incentive Program,
a reward program for taking action to improve your health, features fitness classes,
healthy living classes and resources, thereby reducing risk for disease and disability.
BENEFITS-ELIGIBLE UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES, FAMILY MEMBERS AND RETIREES
This program is a collaboration with the Stanford Health Improvement Program,
the Department of Athletics - Physical Education, Recreation, & Wellness and Stanford
Benefits offers financial incentives for completing an online survey and reduced
or free classes and services.
The program has three steps to help you accomplish your wellness and health
goals:

Complete
an online health assessment called Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment (SHALA).
Benefits-eligible employees who complete the SHALA receive a $150 (taxable) wellness

Attend
a SHALA workshop to see how best to use your results to create a wellness plan.

Once
you (employee, family member and retiree) complete steps 1 and 2, you are eligible
for:
One free fitness assessment (employees only)
Two free personal training buddy sessions (employees only)
Reduced class fee of $20 for HIP and/or Recreation classes
